My Life and Career's Saviour

Do you know the saying "physically present but mentally absent?" That happened to me while I was in my graduate degree course. I graduated earlier than the usual 4 year course. I finished my college degree in just 3 yrs and 1 term since my school follows a trimester system. However, I was really worried because I entered the graduate degree program while I was only 19 years old. I was the youngest among all my classmates.

In fact, most of my classmates were already president, owner, manager, CPAs, supervisors, etc. In short, a lot of them were either professionals or already had a established career. While me, I was nothing. I was just a full time young student in a graduate degree program. Well looking at myself that time, I was really ashamed. Everyone in my classes was already earning while me, I was still dependent on my parents. For me, that was unacceptable. That was the reason why I eagerly search the internet for income opportunities. I want to help my parents and I really want to earn on my own.

Thankfully, one faithful day, while I was in my business ethics class, one of my classmates, while reciting, mentioned a site that provides online work which pays dollar per hour. Actually, I did not even know what the question was and the topic of the discussion since my mind wasn't there. However, at that precise moment, my mind became physically, mentally, and spiritually present! I listened and took note of the site's name, oDesk

When I got home, I checked out the site, read some reviews, registered, and organized my profile. Actually, it took me a while to do all those things. At first, I was doubtful about the site's genuineness. Even my parents didn't have a good feeling about it. They thought it's a scam. They were worried because when I got my first contract, I was too excited that I didn't even sleep.

But then, later on, when I managed to withdraw my earnings after my first contract, they were surprised and very happy. I used payoneer and withdrew my earnings through BDO. Actually, there's this funny feeling, while waiting for the money to come out of the ATM machine, that moment was like a slow motion of one waiting for the winning numbers in a lottery! Sorry for exaggeration but that's how I felt that time.  Well, that's the evidence my hard work and sleepless nights of working online didn't go to waste.

I really and heartily thank God for letting me discover this rare opportunities online. God is really my life and career's saviour! :) So for you who are looking and still searching for jobs online, don't lose hope. Have faith and always pray to God with all your heart. For sure, if it comes from your heart, He truly listens and will definitely give you the answer in the most appropriate time.

Search and You Shall Find

There are a lot of people looking for extra income online. Just like me, after graduating from college, I really wanted to get my first job. But unpredictably, right after college, I immediately enrolled for a graduate degree program. I had to do so because aside from being a graduate student, I am also an athlete, a varsity of our school. I need to continue playing for our school so I decided to study again.

During that time, I honestly didn't have much time to work since I still have to train for competitions. I tried applying  for jobs such as a teller position in banks and even as a customer service representative because I thought these industries pay well especially for people looking for entry level jobs. But then later, I realized that they really don't pay that much.

First, I would like to talk about my experience with Teleperformance-MOA. I got accepted in Teleperformance-MOA and almost ready to start. They offered me 14k/month since I'm a newbie and have no experience. However, when I saw the contract, the pay was not fixed. The contract was actually on an hourly basis. What surprised me most was that they can only offer Php 80 per hour for entry level jobs (people with no experience). This means 14k/month..taxes, sss, pag-ibig, etc. were not yet deducted! Plus transportation and meal expenses! Moreover, my school is too far from MOA. I will definitely be late if I did accept the job. One more thing is that absent and lates really matter in that kind of job. It is hourly so minutes or even seconds late will be deducted from my salary.

Another job that I tried was in BDO. I applied for a teller position in BDO but it offered me a position as a Training and Product Development Assistant in BDO-main in Makati. The only problem was that they can only offer Php12K/mo. which was smaller than Teleperformance.

Before accepting the job, I tried to figure out what I really want. I said I want a flexible and high paying job where I can still continue studying while playing for my school. I search online for work at home jobs or any money-making online to fulfill what's missing. I stumbled with a lot of survey paid sites, paid-to-click sites, online trading, etc. I found out that most survey paid sites are SCAM, online trading sites need cash investment (which I don't have since I'm just a student!), and lastly, I confirmed that PTC sites do pay but need a lot of time and patience. Clicking an ad will only let you earn $0.001. This means to earn $1, you have to click 1000 ads! Usually, they can provide at least 4 ads per day, so it will really take a lot to earn $1 with these PTC sites.

I really want to help my parents but I can't find the job I really want. I want a job that pays high (above minimum), with flexible working hours (coz' I'm a law student, I need to balance my time), and allows me to apply what I've learned from school.

I almost gave up that time. But then, I found this site which really pays better. One can work with flexibility, and with rate based on your skills and experiences. Genuine work at home, a real income online! I thank God for allowing me to find these great opportunities online. Lucky me indeed!

Math is easy with Cream-O by Ken

3 years ago, I remember joining a video contest organized by Cream-O. I captured videos with, of course, my nephews as the leading actors. The video quality was not that good and I only knew a few video editing twigs that time. I think it's good enough for a newbie like me.

Anyway, my first video was with Ken. My main topic was solving math problems. At first, he would find it hard to solve a few math problems but then after one bite of the cookie, the answers amazingly came up to his mind.

Well, I know it's a very simple idea for a video contest. But who can blame me?! I did it rush since I wanted to submit it on time. I only managed to know the contest almost 2 weeks before its deadline of submission. Capturing, editing, and adding special effects really took me a lot of time. Hopefully, you enjoy it!
